Hotels
So, there's good news and there's bad news...
The bad news is that Knoxville is going to be overrun with 8000 middle school students and their parents the same weekend as our wedding. There's an event called The Destination Imagination Global Challenge happening from May 26 - 29, and they managed to book up most of the hotels in the area. The good news is, their bedtime is 9:00 P.M.
If you're only going to need a hotel room on Sunday night, there should be plenty of rooms available at any hotel in town because the DIGC kids will be gone. You should feel free to make a reservation on your own at any hotel you choose and you can safely ignore the information below.
If you need a hotel room on Saturday night as well, we've secured rooms at several hotels in the area for out of town guests. Use the information below to make your reservation, and please let us know if/when you do so we can keep this page updated for others.
In an ideal situation, we would have been able to block out rooms in a single hotel, but it just didn't work out that way. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause in making your plans.
Rooms have been reserved in the following hotels:

He'll keep this page updated daily (heck, hourly if he needs to), so the number of rooms you see above should be accurate.
Knoxville Area Hotels
These hotels are scattered around the Knoxville area, but they shouldn't be too far away from downtown. Distances from the wedding and reception sites are noted.

Anne's mother personally visited this hotel and said that the rooms were "clean and basic." As a bonus, this motel is particularly close to a Petro's.
Once again, if you want one of these rooms, please contact Mark -- or 202.421.3756 -- and he'll get the list of names to the motel and keep this page updated to show accurate availabilities.
One other thing: even though it's a Super 8 and not a Motel 6, I'm pretty sure they'll leave a light on for you

One other option for the adventurous or folks who missed out on the Summer Camp experience is the Highlander Center. It's a retreat center so they have overnight accomodations that are similar to a camp or, well, a retreat center.
This is by far the most economical option, and it will be really convenient on the night of the reception.
There are 4 private rooms with 2 twin beds available in addition to dormitory-style bunk beds. The rate is $26 per person per night. If this sounds interesting to you, let us know and we'll contact the Highlander to set it up.
It's really a beautiful setting, so if you don't need or want to be close to the city, you should consider it!

| One of the rooms at the Highlander Center. It's not the Ritz, but if you want some quiet downtime out in the country, this is the place. |
